The Irish National Lottery pays out more than 50% of its funds in prize money. The balance is used to fund projects in Ireland in the areas of health, sport, recreation, arts, culture, and national heritage. It began gaming operations in 1987. Since then, it has expanded its repertoire of games to include Lotto drawings, television bingo, televised game shows, and participation in the transnational EuroMillions lottery. Draws are held every Wednesday and Saturday.
The Irish Lottery's largest ever jackpot of €18,963,441 was won by a syndicate of sixteen work colleagues at the Dan Morrissey (Ireland) Ltd quarry and concrete plant on June 2008, while the second-largest jackpot of €16,185,749 was won on July 2007 by a family from Cork.
Draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday night and jackpots are won by matching the first 6 numbers drawn from 1 to 42, plus a 'bonus' number.

Obviously there’s no way to foresee or even single out some number combinations. And I am not going to be repeating what you may have already known.However, there’s a likely chance to improve your winnings by changing the way you pick the numbers. People on the average tend to pick random numbers, which tend to be uhhh random. Such as 12 34 37 40 43 46. What is more or less consistent with this methodology is that there are very few consecutive number formations. So if you tend to pick 1 2 3 4 5 6 or 43 44 45 46 47 48 and so forth you still have equal chance of winning the lottery (which is pretty slim) but higher chance of winning the grand prize alone.Still, by explaining this method there’s a high chance that at least one other person will pick consecutive number series and this will dramatically effect your chance of winning the grand prize alone.Well, looks like I spoiled it for everyone haven’t I?
