Brilliant! I nominate my Mum, Roberta Smythe Evans, because she's the most patient mother a bloke could ever ask for, considering she's put up with 5 rowdy boys (Dad included) for over 30 years. Definitely a multi-million-dollar Mum! Pick HER!

I'd like to nominate Elaine Freeman, the coolest and hippest mum in Oz! She's very open-minded, intelligent, and just a stylish lady. Furthermore, she's also a great cook and recognizes the fact that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach! Mum's the greatest.

My mom has worked several jobs to support 3 children after our father died. I was only 10 yrs old at that time. Life was hard back then but we all managed to finish school. Our clothes were simple, and our meals were meager, but she kept us all together so we were happy. Mom sacrificed a lot for us that's why we love her dearly. Ko Soon-Yi is the best mother ever!

I would like to nominate my mom Blanca Rivera, we are from Honduras in Central America and she is a mom of two sons and twin daughters. She is the first one to get up and the last one to go to sleep everyday. Also, she has worked hard since I can remember to give us the best education, food and make of us hard working responsible sons and daughters, that is why I think she deserves a chance to take a shot of winning the lottery.

I would like to nominate my mom Tara Jashnani, she is mom of of two daughters and a son , as what we are today because of her love.
M-O-T-H-E-R
"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER,"
A word that means the world to me.

I would like to nominate my mom for the care and love she brought us up without thinking of her comfort, with selfless love...
If the whole world were put into one scale, and my mother in the other, the whole world would kick the beam.

The mother I'd like to nominate is not my own (who has already passed on) but rather my wife, Marianna, mother to our 3 kids. I lost my job last year and since that time I have not been able to find employment. Through this dark time, she has stood by me and supported us all, taking an extra job to be able to make ends meet and still have the time to shower love on our children in spiteof her busy schedule, never complaining and always encouraging me each time I face yet another rejected job application. She is a true inspiration and the love of my life and she deserves so much better than the life she has now.

John, that's great! I appreciate that, in fact I had that idea, too and I felt glad I read it here. We are in a similar case, i have been redundant and still looking for a job. My wife at the moment is our bread winner and i wish she could have a reward from somewhere as a surprise.

Faced with the usual challenges anornimous with a typical African mother, i can never thank my mother (Mrs Ngerehatine Kandu - a widow since April 1997 when my dad passed-on) enough for seeing us through the tough times to reach the point where we are by God's grace. She only managed to go as far as a mere standard seven (7) [Primary School] grade, after which she got married into a polygamous set-up to my dad, yet as a mere house-wife that she was, she managed to fend for her eight (8) kids, even after their sole provider, my dad, passed-on. She has lived most of her life deed into the out-skirts of the country - Botswana, the so-called African cattle-post, raised us through the profits of her few herds of cattle and sour milk, and through her support, as her first born child, i moved on to attain a university degree. Today, by God's grace, i got some sponsorship for my further studies in Europe (UK). The question is: 'who would i be, where would i be, and how far could i have gone without her tireless hardwork.....?' She'll always be my "million-dollar" worth woman, despite the fact that i'm now married and have a family of my own. I can never appreciate her efforts enough, hence i'll always be indebted to her for her sacrifices. I love you mum, and surely you deserve AUD$20million.........!!!!!!

My mother has worked day and night for nigh on forty years or more; sometimes at two jobs to provide for our family. She has not taken much of a holiday. She also has two college degrees and helped many others to gain a college diploma also. My mother has volunteered for the community and taken care of the sick and elderly parents and neighbors. She has given to others all her life and now, as she approaches retirement age,
keeps on giving rather than thinking for her own gain.

she prays for the good of all. she never utters a hateful call. welcomes all with smiling brow Her sincere care helps us to grow

I think all the mothers deserved a big BREAK from their daily routines. Winning this money will open a whole new world for that lucky mother and wish every entry good luck. But i think my mother deserves a big break now due to her illness. she's been through a lot lately. she's got a big strong heart to fight and being a loving mother at the same time. My mother is under treatments for Breast Cancer and its a rough journey for her and all of us. But that doesn't stop her from attending to our needs and being there for us kids. Every time she finished her chemo she would go back to work she had her mastectomy 5 weeks ago and she is back to work. She is a very strong women and i wish she'll be the lucky one.

My mom, 92 years young, suffers from Alzheimer's. She has lived with me for over 13 years since the disease began. It has placed a great financial burden upon the famil but we refuse to put her in an institution. With the winnings, I could give my mother the BEST CARE she deserves for as long as God allows her to be with us. She was always a warm, loving, supportive mother, who told us we could become anything and any person
we desired. In her prime, she cooked Italian meals for our extended family of approx. 30 people on holidays. Now, she barely recognizes most of them. She was a stay at home mom, who now deserves to be stay at home utnil the Lord calls her.
