Yahoo! and MySpace Sue Scammers

Here's some good news for us "scam-fighters".

Internet companies Yahoo! and MySpace have thrown their corporate hats into the ring in legal battles against spammers using their names for fraud.

In New York, web giant Yahoo! filed a lawsuit  against  a group called Yahoo Lottery Spammers on Tuesday for allegedly sending email messages to Yahoo! subscribers informing them that they had won a company lottery .  The email entitled recipients to certain prizes from  Yahoo!.

The emails were formatted to pass as official Yahoo! messages and asked the recipients to provide personal information such as account passwords and credit card information - supposedly for them to claim the prize winnings.

Mega Millions Update: $196 Million on Friday, May 16

Breaking News!  Increased ticket sales have raised Mega Million's Friday first prize  to $196,000,000 - a 30 Million jump from last night's Jackpot!

There was no jackpot winner in the Tuesday, May 13, 2008 Mega Millions drawing, but 8 lucky players matched the first 5 numbers for a $250,000 prize: 1 from Michigan, 1 from New Jersey, 3 from New York, and 3 from Virginia. The winning numbers were: 20-24-27-31-47, and the Mega Ball, 15

The last time a Mega Millions Jackpot was in the vicinity of $200 million was in mid-February, where it grew to the massive $270,000,000 later won by a Georgia couple.

USA Jackpot Update: $85M on Tues + $162M on Wed

It looks like Michael's fearless forecast is about to come true!

Jackpots for both Mega Millions and USA Powerball  remain untouched over the weekend, bringing the prize pools up to $85,000,000 for Tuesday, and a whopping $162,000,000 for Wednesday.

It has barely been a month since Powerball gave out a $276 Million prize.  With  a bit more luck we'll see it whizz past the 200-million mark after just a couple more draws.

It's a Double Rollover weekend for USA Draws!

Just a quick update...both Mega Millions and USA Powerball are holding big Jackpot draws this weekend.

Thanks to the overwhelming response of USA draw fans like you (and me too!), Powerball's top prize has grown to $144,000,000 on Saturday, April 26. That's a $19m -leap from the previous jackpot!

Mega Millions is climbing up as well.  First prize for Friday's draw will be for $71,000,000.

If you're interested in entering either (or both) of these draws,  you can do so right now at

Hi! This is Caroline filling in for Julia - who's up to her ears processing orders for USA Mega Jackpots.

If you haven't heard by now, Mega Millions has just entered the "mega-jackpot" zone, offering a $60m first prize on Tuesday, April 22nd.

That, coupled with Powerball's amazing 20million jackpot leap - which brings Wednesday's big prize up to $125m - is mine and Julia's cause for celebration this week.

Another Double Rollover for US Lotteries!

It's bound to be another excitement-filled weekend here at OSA as both USA draws roll over to bring you bigger cash prizes!

We're all going a little nuts because Powerball is fast approaching the US$ 300M mark ...the last time it did was in August 2007, where it  went down as the 8th largest lottery jackpot on record.

For the 15th time in a row,  no ticket matched the winning numbers (12,19,30,34,36 and PB 8) for the March 12 Powerball draw... so the first prize has rolled over (yet again) to US$275,000,000 on Saturday, March 15th.
If no one wins Saturday's first division prize, Powerball could very well be on its way to break the record USD365 Million win set on February 18, 2006.

Not to be outdone, MegaMillions is also at a high this weekend, with a top prize of  US$59,000,000 on Friday, March 14.

If you're interested in entering either (or both) of these draws, you can do so right now at

Fair warning though, orders are sure to pour in, so if I were you I'd secure my USA Mega Jackpot entry right away.
